Résumé: Le Takarazuka, fondé en 1913 par Kobayashi Ichizô, est un spectacle populaire japonais. Ses fans de sexe féminin sont aujourd'hui très nombreuses. " Théâtre National " et " Grand Théâtre " sont deux notions inventées par Kobayashi à destination de la classe populaire. Ce spectacle illustre le conflit culturel entre Tôkyô et Ôsaka et entre Japon et " Occident ". Le Takarazuka, joué exclusivement par des filles, a su conserver son identité, c'est là une importante raison de son succès actuel. L'otokoyaku qui interprète le rôle masculin, ne se réduit pas à la seule actrice, mais s'érige en possibilité de rencontre avec l'homme idéal. Historiquement, le Japon considère le mélange des deux sexes comme un objet de beauté. Ce fait est en relation étroite avec l'adoration en laquelle on tient dans ce pays l'existence artificielle. Le Takarazuka questionne enfin une nouvelle perspective du sexe et illustre pleinement la signification que les japonaises à la bisexualité.
